Artist Date.

I had an Artist's Date today; I just crossed the street and there is was, Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz jamming out at the park during my lunch break while I sat under the shade and breeze and listened. It was so relaxing given my recent 70 hour work weeks - Henry Brun rocked the conga and the trumpet player was pretty amazing as well. Very nice! I have had an artist date every day this week thanks to Jazz Appreciation Month and being conveniently situated on the other side of Travis Park. I wish all days were like today - breezy and full of live music. Too bad I only have one hour for lunch and not two. :-(
